I love this song. It's a winter dreamland.

This song has been perfected. Like, just flawless. Drums are perfect. Great level of transitions. Different sounds ; fluctuations. Atmosphere is just an eargasm.
Keep it up. (I give short reviews to the best songs. Funny huh?)

haha wow ;S

First half ;D Second half WTF!?!? ;'..';

Ok.. You have the comprehensive touch of our dreamer's world theme. Yet, you had it flowing nicely, even added some jazzy bit to it. Then you massacred it with the damn guitar. How could you? Thats worst then my nightmares, and I have nightmares that give me insomnia. Not because I am scared, but because my subconscious reads my dream's symbols in a whole new system that isn't ideally easy for us humans to convey ourselves.. FIX IT PLEASE. ^^
Goodluck. I liked your other song anyhow, only you may guess which. Let others stumble on it, maybe if they are curious enough they will search through your list of songs to find the one I like. Lol.
~Akumin Beast~ (Stop killing your songs..)

Cuzone responds:

Wow, I'm very thankful and very sorry at the same time. :P Let's adress the sorry part first. Well, I am very sorry that you didn't like the guitar, maybe I should have it changed to suit your taste (no irony) but that song is extremely old so I might not have the files.

Now, after the guitar solo is over, everything else breaks down on purpose. That's part of the dream. Nothing is pretty and organized and follows certain keys and tones and tempos in dreams! Things break down, things go wrong. Things bite your head off. That was the point of the section that begins at 4:10. And the ending of it with the voices and everything was just my homage to the Beatles' experimentation in A Day In The Life, Revolution 9, and maybe other songs of theirs which I haven't listened to but which feature the same kind of thing. :P

Thank you for the kind words and the advice,
Timraband.

I like the bass and all but it's drags me on..

The beginning, the beginning drags on,and on, and on. I don't know if you see that aswell. I just noticed that you could of hit the main lead ANYTIME. But nope. Just stayed the same until like 1:56ish. Maybe there is a way you can shorten the beginning and add a whole new lead prior to the main core of the song? You know to add more depth and excitement for us listeners. Just an idea.
Good song. Goodluck. Josh.

thecokebitch responds:

haha yeah, the intro does drag it out - and it is intended, but yeah, maybe i could sweeten the progression by adding more... hmmmm

Cheers for the wicked review anyways, it means alot!

You could of done better :/

Ok. I am not going to kill your score for your simple mistakes, but you really need to come back to this song and fix it up. It's a good song, I see alot of potential even about 5 transitions you can create. Make the bass louder, reverse might even give it a twilight touch. The piano needs more ooph if you know what I mean. It feels like some drowsy guy, half asleep half assly playing his piano. Please fix it, so I can be proud, and maybe a few others down the line. Goodluck. Cuzone.

Reminds me of Zelda LTTP

An orchestral compound, and a teaspoon of industrial + that violin = A simple piece of reminesence from the times I played on my SNES. The drums do get a bit repetitive, it's not bad though due to my high, insane patience. Good Work. Keep it up.
If anyone tries to bring this down, they either are having a bad day..
Broke their nail..
Jealous of your work..
Think it's funny..
Bi-Polar.
Don't let them get to you, alot of people nitpick through music, and leave some materpieces in the dust. I know I seen alot of classical music on newgrounds that was topnotch, but since people like the bullshit nowadays (It's my opinion that it's bullshit anyways..) They won't hesitate to weigh in their lack of musical insight. So keep it up. Everything by one's self is truely a gift. Everything to other's is a propable cause. Goodluck Tanner

I Really Need To Find Talent For Myself..

Anything that is disregarding the mainstream music today is a 10 for me.
Anything that dismantles stereotype music is just wonderfully on my S+ list.
Anyone who disapproves of this genre doesn't understand that complexity is mear simplicty, you just have to understand the aspects of complexity. It's truely a musical piece which shouldn't be shunned on. It even reminds me of Final Fantasy 7, while in that factory level. It creates such an in depth atmosphere yet all the notes and beats are that of listening to it from another frequency. It's like listening to another dimension from this dimension. This guy pulled it off quite well. Music doesn't always have to have melody, anything that someone put's heart to is music. This definately will lead up to further songs that will exert extreme potential, and arduous work.
Keep up the good work Kirb. I want to see more of your work, but the best of all..
''I also like doing weird things in my music, becuase it forces me to try different things. Things that most likely wont be liked by the general public because it's different, but I like it so Imma keep it up! =P '' <-- How do you have such a carefree attitude? The power to be yourself and let not of burden from one's opinion. I do infact like to do abstract touches to my music aswell, even my stories, or pictures I make.
I don't know, maybe if you'd notice.. I practically composed this review to convey my idea of talking to you through PM through it's incoherent whispers.
Who knows, you may agree.. Maybe you won't.. That is fine.
Anyways, do NOT stop your strange enthusiasm towards your music, and possibly the reflection of yourself.
~Akumin~

Kirbyfemur responds:

Wow, dude that was amazing! These kind of reviews are the reason i've still been posting reviews on here.

I honestly don't know where my carefree attitude comes from exactly, but i know it helps that i just like to have fun and do what i like to do. I mean I love making music i like to listen to, I like hearing weirdness, and dissonance in a song, because it makes me think about why it sounds weird, what it's doing, how it makes me feel, and what note will come after to complete it.

I actually had to be a bit more constricted in how i wrote this song because it was a competition and i thought it would be cool to win. But I didn't want to take away all of the weirdness. The final version of this song uses a different drum sound because the kit kind of got lost in the sounds.

I thank you so very much for your kind words =3

Now That Is What I Call Trance.. >_>''

This song is awesome, omg this song would be great for a movie or something where a person loses all his friends, his family, and the things he loved over greed and lust, and goes crazy. Then gets engulfed by sorrow and grief and does a slow motion suicide? IDK.. lol I am just trying to make a story or something out of this that I am failing miserably at ;~; but getting back on topic once again I take off my hat to you sir.. KEEP GOING!!! hands down this is orgasmic to my ears..

~Akumin Beast~

NickSandwich responds:

Hmm I never really saw this song in that way, but that'd be cool. You should make it into a flash animation ;D

Again You Own At This..

When I cap all my letters that means I am serious >> ok but I really like this song aswell ^^ you really need to make some more songs and who knows all those bad songs you decided not to post could have some pretty good patterns in them where you put them all together to make another unique thing >> and just like stuff a song might be trash to others but to others it is gold >> lol I am so bad at giving reviews but bear with me xD kk well like I said in my other review for your song *Truth* ''btw everyone go check that out damn it'' keep up the good work /no1
~Akumin Beast~

NickSandwich responds:

Ahahha mix all my unfinished songs into a collage? That'd sound so strange.. There's seriously like a billion of them.

Now That Is Insane..

I must say without any doubt that this is one unique piece. I was blown away by it :D and also if I would write a summary about how good this song is and its strengths it would come out to be 10 pages >>''
What I am trying to say is keep up the good work dude with this type of music. I never did like songs with voices but this is something I have been interested for quite a long time.. just the way how eerie it is, the voices don't bother me at all and it fits perfectly ^^ I hope you make more music like this man. ~Akumin Beast~

NickSandwich responds:

Thanks! ^^
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
